I am now officially in full swing of training for my 10k in June.I decided to toss in the Race for the Cure 5k in at the end of this month just for shits and giggles, too.What the hell was I thinking?

I just found your blog randomly through 20SB. The use of someecards just totally made my Easter. I, too, am training for a 10K. And by "training" I mean I tell people I'm going to run a 10K this year and keep choosing races that are later in the year. I did almost 8K today though...woot woot! Baby steps! :)
@Just a Girl I kind of have that beer gut problem too... but I have crazy thunder thighs so I kind of look like a bowling ball :-P@Blondie The 10K is more for health awareness than anything -- no real cause. I think that's why I threw in the Race for the Cure. @Amy Well, welcome to my blog! :-) I know what you mean by pushing the training back more and more... My roommate is the one who finally got me off my butt to do it. He was sick of hearing me talk about it!
